Elements NYC Music & Arts Festival August 11 2018 – Hunts Point, Bronx
BangOn!NYC is proud to announce the 5th annual Elements NYC Music & Art Festival on August 11, 2018. Utilizing the industrial playground in Hunts Point, the urban jungle will be re-imagined. Elements NYC will offer attendees four Elemental Stages, sweeping New York skyline views, over 500 feet of waterfront, grassy fields and massive grain silos to explore. A new focus on merging technology, immersive art, interactive performers and participatory activities will create a world apart from anything we’ve done before. This is a glimpse into the future.
We’re fabricating a world unlike anything seen before.
INTERACTIVE: Engaging with performers is mandatory for attendees. Our performers will be quick to share their unique stories with guests. Troops of fire breathers, gravity-defying aerialists, and unique spectacles will form our re-imagined world.
IMMERSIVE: Monumental installations will engage each of the senses. Guests can climb atop massive art carts for prime views of stages, wander through multi-scene interactive theater and feel the calm of lavish hideouts tucked away from music.
TECHNOLOGY: The newest wave of young visual artists have found ingenious ways to take advantage of today’s technologies. Our goal is to highlight the integration of art and technology by empowering young tech artists from around the globe to showcase their creations. Expect participatory and cutting-edge conceptual works using projections, programmable LED’s, and motion capture technology.
